Welcome to the online home of Wyoming Valley
Dog Owners Group! WVDOG is a group of
volunteers who are committed to bringing an off
leash dog park to the city of Wilkes-Barre.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT:

		To actively raise funds in support of the development
		and maintenance of an attractive,fenced in, off leash park where dogs and their owners can exercise and socialize in a safe, clean environment in order to provide personal and community enrichment and promote the health and well being of the citizens and canines of Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.

		To develop rules and regulations that will ensure that
		the park is an asset and source of pride to those who use it, as well as to Luzerne County as a whole.

		To promote education, training and recreational
		activities that facilitate responsible dog ownership and better behaved dogs through the use of volunteers and professional dog trainers.

WVDOG would like to thank Attorney David Tomaszewski from the
Law Offices of Borland and Borland, L.L.P. for volunteering his time
to help us file the proper paperwork for WVDOG to become a 501 (c)
(3) Corporation. Thank you again for everything!

Many improvements are needed to make the
location at Hollenback Park into a dog park. To
finance these improvements the city of Wilkes-
Barre has allowed us to offer a great
sponsorship program.

The Wyoming Valley Dog Owners Group is
offering a limited amount of sections on the
existing fence at Hollenback Park for advertising
opportunities. Hollenback Park is located in a
highly visible location next to Hollenback Golf
Course at 1050 North Washington Street in
Wilkes-Barre, just off the Cross Valley
Expressway.
The cost to become a sponsor is $250 the first
year and a renewal fee of $100 each additional
year. This fee will include a 2’x2’ sign that will
display all your company ‘s vital information. All
money raised from these sponsorship signs will
be spent on improvements for the dog park.
This is a great deal on advertising for a full year,
advertising that will be viewed by many
individuals each day.
